Does microblading hurt?+
A topical numbing cream is applied before your appointment begins, making the treatment very manageable. Most clients feel a light scratching sensation. Pain levels vary by skin sensitivity — we do everything possible to keep you comfortable.
How long does healing take?+
Initial redness and slight darkening fades within 3–5 days. The brows go through a peeling phase around day 7–10 where they may appear lighter. By week 4–6, the healed color stabilizes — this is when your touch-up appointment is scheduled.
Who should NOT get microblading?+
Microblading is not recommended for: pregnant or nursing clients, clients on blood thinners, those with active skin conditions in the brow area, clients with very oily skin (consult first), or anyone who has had skin treatments in the brow area within 4 weeks.
How do I care for my brows after microblading?+
Keep brows dry for 10 days. Avoid sweating, swimming, sun exposure, and heavy skincare on the brow area. Apply the provided aftercare balm twice daily. Do not pick at any peeling — this removes pigment.
Is a touch-up really necessary?+
Yes — the 4–6 week touch-up is a required part of the microblading process, not optional. All pigment heals slightly different than it looks fresh. The touch-up completes and perfects your results.
