How it works
Skin Prep
The skin is cleansed and prepped with a pre-wax oil or powder to protect skin and improve adhesion.
Wax Selection
Hard wax is used on sensitive areas; soft wax with muslin strips is used on larger body areas for efficiency and thoroughness.
Application
Wax is applied in the direction of hair growth, allowed to set to the perfect temperature and consistency.
Removal
Wax is removed swiftly against the direction of growth, removing hair at the follicle for maximum neatness and longevity.
Post-Wax Care
A soothing lotion or oil is applied to calm the skin and reduce any temporary redness. Aftercare recommendations are provided.

Waxing FAQ
How long does my hair need to be for waxing?+
Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a rice grain) for the wax to grip effectively. This is typically 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving.
Can I wax if I'm on Retin-A or Accutane?+
No — clients using Retin-A, tretinoin, Accutane, or strong exfoliants should not wax as the skin is more fragile and prone to lifting. Threading is an excellent alternative for facial hair.
How do I reduce ingrown hairs after waxing?+
Exfoliate the waxed area gently 48 hours after your appointment and 2x weekly thereafter. Avoid tight clothing on freshly waxed skin, and keep the area moisturized. We offer aftercare product recommendations.
Will waxing cause breakouts on my face?+
Some clients experience minor breakouts after facial waxing due to open follicles — this is normal and typically resolves within 24–48 hours. Keep the area clean and avoid heavy makeup for 12 hours post-wax.
